Serb Nina Stojanovic advanced to the final of the LP Open by IND by winning against No 8 seed Sara Bejlek 6-4, 7-5 on Saturday night.
Stojanovic, ranked No 432, will face the winner of the match between Egyptian Mayar Sherif, the No 3 seed, and Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle, the second seed, next.
The Serb defeated Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens, the top seed (7-5, 6-2), Ukrainian qualifier Oleksandra Oliynykova (6-4, 6-2) and Latvian Darja Semenistaja, the No 6 seed (6-1, 6-2) in the previous rounds.
Earlier in the tournament, Bejlek, ranked No 188, won against Chilean lucky loser Fernanda Rain Contreras (6-0, 6-0), Russian qualifier Daria Lodikova (6-2, 6-1) and Spaniard Guiomar Maristany Zuleta De Reales (6-3, 6-2).
