Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko, the No 8 seed, advanced to the last 16 of the Dow Tennis Classic by winning against Slovenian Tamara Zidansek 6-2, 6-2 on Monday.
Tsurenko, ranked No 122, will face the winner of the match between Swiss Jil Teichmann and American Elizabeth Mandlik next.
