Qualifier Quentin Halys moved into the second round of the Metz Open by winning against lucky loser Theo Papamalamis 6-3, 6-1 at the Arènes de Metz on Monday evening.
Halys, ranked No 84, will play French lucky loser Pierre-Hugues Herbert next.
