Paris Masters: Rune makes last 16

Dane Holger Rune, the No 13 seed, advanced to the last 16 of Paris Masters by winning against Kazakh Alexander Bublik 6-4, 6-2 at the Accor Arena on Wednesday.

Rune, ranked No 13, will play the winner of the match between French lucky loser Arthur Cazaux and American Ben Shelton next.

In the previous round of the Paris-Bercy tournament, the 21-year-old Dane beat Italian Matteo Arnaldi (6-4, 6-4).

Bublik, ranked No 33, defeated Italian qualifier Fabio Fognini (7-5, 7-5) during the first round of the Paris-Bercy tournament.
