No 5 seed Kamilla Rakhimova edged out Elena Pridankina 4-6, 6-4, 7-5 to advance to the last eight of the Jiangxi Open at the Nanchang International Tennis Center on Wednesday.
Rakhimova, ranked No 63, will play top seed Marie Bouzkova next.
Ahead of her victory, Kamilla Rakhimova edged out Croat Petra Martic (6-1, 4-6, 7-5).
Pridankina, ranked No 179, defeated German Ella Seidel (6-3, 7-6 (6)) in the previous round of the Jiangxi tournament.
