Latvian Darja Semenistaja, the No 5 seed, reached the last 16 of the Bolivia Open by winning against Spaniard Aliona Bolsova 6-3, 6-4 on Tuesday.
Semenistaja, ranked No 131, will face the winner of the match between Selena Janicijevic and Kristina Mladenovic next.
