Osaka champion Lamens reaches second round in Hong Kong
The Dutchwoman will meet the winner of the match between wildcard Hong Yi Cody Wong and Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 8 seed, in the next round

Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens won against Chinese qualifier Gao Xinyu 6-3, 6-0 to reach the second round of the Hong Kong Open at Victoria Park, Causeway Bay on Tuesday.
She has now won eight of her last nine matches on the tour, having won the Osaka title as a qualifier.
Lamens, ranked No 91 and winner of the Osaka WTA 250 title recently, will face the winner of the match between wildcard Hong Yi Cody Wong and Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 8 seed, next.
