Guangzhou Open: Wei beaten in second round
Xiyu Wang edged out Sijia Wei 3-6, 6-0, 7-5 on Wednesday and will face Italian Lucia Bronzetti in the next round

Xiyu Wang edged out wildcard Sijia Wei 3-6, 6-0, 7-5 to reach the quarter-finals of the Guangzhou Open at the Nansha International Tennis Center on Wednesday.
Wang, ranked No 99, will play Italian Lucia Bronzetti next.
Xiyu Wang beat Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus (6-2, 6-4) in the previous round of the Guangzhou tournament.
During the first round of the Guangzhou tournament, Wei, ranked No 135, won against Slovak Rebecca Sramkova, the No 6 seed (6-1, 6-4).
