Gasquet and Monfils among Paris Masters wildcards
The FFT announced on Tuesday the names of the players who have received an invitation for the main draw and the qualifiers of the Paris Masters 1000
The Paris Masters – the final 1000-level tournament of the season – has revealed the players it is awarding wildcard invites to. As is often the case with Paris, they were exclusively reserved for French players.
Those to have received a wildcard for the main draw, which will start on October 28, are Richard Gasquet, who will make his last appearance in Bercy before his retirement next year at Roland-Garros, Gaël Monfils, Adrian Mannarino and young talent Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.
The wildcards for the qualifiers – which start on October 26 – have gone to Arthur Cazaux, Hugo Gaston, Quentin Halys and Alexandre Müller.
Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic will not be defending his crown at the final Masters event of the year, having announced that he is set to miss the tournament.
