Swiss Indoors: Humbert books spot in second round

Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the No 5 seed, reached the second round of the Swiss Indoors by edging out Swiss qualifier Jerome Kym 6-4, 6-7 (5), 7-5 at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel on Monday.

Humbert, ranked No 16, will play the winner of the match between Belgian lucky loser David Goffin and Italian Matteo Arnaldi next.
