Alex De Minaur has pulled out of this month’s UTS Frankfurt, with the Australian set to be replaced by his big-hitting compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis.

‘The Demon’, as is his UTS moniker, has already qualified for the UTS Grand Final – taking place in London this December – with his aim for the remainder of the season being on qualification for the ATP Finals in Turin.

It means that Aussie Kokkinakis will be joining the all-star line-up for UTS Frankfurt, making his debut at the event as the UTS Tour crescendos to its climax at the Grand Final.

“Dear UTS fans, I am really sorry but I have to pull out from Frankfurt next week,” De Minaur announced.

“I’m super excited that I’ve already qualified for the UTS Grand Final in London in December. Now I want to try and also qualify for the ATP finals. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all in London.

“We wish Alex lots of luck, and are thrilled to welcome Thanasi to the UTS family!”

UTS Frankfurt will take place between October 18 – 20 at the Süwag Energie Arena. You can purchase tickets for the event here.
