China Open: Rublev makes quarter-finals

Russian Andrey Rublev, the No 4 seed, won against Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 6-4, 7-5 to advance to the last eight of the China Open at the Olympic Green Tennis Center in Beijing on Monday.
Rublev, ranked No 6, will face Chinese wildcard Yunchaokete Bu next.
In the previous round of the Beijing tournament, the Russian edged out Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta (6-0, 4-6, 6-4).
Davidovich Fokina, ranked No 64, defeated Chinese Zhizhen Zhang (6-3, 4-6, 6-3) in the previous round of the Beijing tournament.
