Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal could face each other in the Six Kings Slam exhibition event in Saudi Arabia next month.

The draw for the six-man competition was made on Saturday, with Alcaraz due to play Dane Holger Rune for the right to play 22-time slam winner and fellow Spaniard Nadal in the semi-finals.

The event could be one of Nadal’s last appearances as a professional. The 38-year-old has not played since the Olympics but is included in the Spain team for this year’s Davis Cup finals.

Novak Djokovic, the 24-time major winner, awaits the winner of the match between world No 1 Jannik Sinner and Russia’s Daniil Medvedev in the other half of the draw.

The Six Kings Slam, which offers a reported $6 million in prize money to the winner alone, along with guarantees of $1.5 million for each player, begins on Wednesday October 16, with the final to be played on Saturday October 19.

Rune is the only one of the six yet to win a slam. The other five men have won 63 slams between them.
