Slovenian Tamara Zidansek won against Russian qualifier Tatiana Prozorova 2-6, 6-3, 6-1 to advance to the last 16 of the Thailand Open 2 on Monday.
Zidansek, ranked No 261, will face the winner of the match between American Katie Volynets, the No 6 seed, and Dane Clara Tauson next.
