Francesca Jones won against Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet, the top seed, 6-2, 6-3 to move into the last 16 of the Zavarovalnica Sava Ljubljana on Tuesday afternoon.
Jones, ranked No 177, will face the winner of the match between Petra Marcinko and Tara Wurth next.
