German Ella Seidel, the No 5 seed, advanced to the last 16 of the Zavarovalnica Sava Ljubljana by winning against Slovenian wildcard Pia Lovric 6-2, 6-1 on Tuesday.
Seidel, ranked No 141, will face the winner of the match between Spanish qualifier Angela Fita Boluda and Ukrainian Katarina Zavatska next.
