Barranquilla Open: Hruncakova upsets fifth seed Bektas to reach quarters
The Slovak will face the winner of the match between Ukrainian Anastasiya Sobolieva and Slovak qualifier Martina Okalova in the next round

Slovak Viktoria Hruncakova won against American Emina Bektas, the No 5 seed, 7-5, 7-6 (4) to move into the quarter-finals of the Barranquilla Open on Wednesday.
Hruncakova, ranked No 233, will play the winner of the match between Ukrainian Anastasiya Sobolieva and Slovak qualifier Martina Okalova next.
The Slovak beat Australian Destanee Aiava (6-2, 6-4) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous round, Bektas, ranked No 121, won against Greek Despina Papamichail (7-6 (5), 6-2).
