Ukrainian Kateryna Baindl won against German wildcard Carolina Kuhl 6-3, 6-2 to advance to the last 16 of the Hamburg European Open on Sunday evening.
Baindl, ranked No 271, will face the winner of the match between Hungarian Anna Bondar, the No 4 seed, and German qualifier Anna Petkovic next.
