Olympics: Errani/ Paolini to face Andreeva/ Shnaider for gold medal in women’s doubles
The Italians defeated Czech duo Karolina Muchova/ Linda Noskova 6-3, 6-2 in the semi-finals on Friday

Italy’s Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini advanced to the women’s doubles final at the Paris Olympics where they will meet Mirra Andreeva/ Diana Shnaider, the Russian players playing under a neutral flag.
The third-seeded Italians defeated Czech duo Karolina Muchova/ Linda Noskova 6-3, 6-2 in one hour and seven minutes to advance to the final.
Andreeva/ Shnaider also scored a comfortable straight sets win over Spanish duo Sara Sorribes Tormo/ Cristina Bucsa 6-1, 6-2 in the other semi-final.
This will be the first Olympic medal for all four players.
