Wildcard Lukas Neumayer advanced to the second round of the Generali Open by edging out No 5 seed Sebastian Ofner 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (3) at Kitzbühel Tennis Club.
Neumayer, ranked No 289, will play American wildcard Nicolas Moreno De Alboran next.
