Colombian qualifier Daniel Elahi Galan moved into the second round of the Generali Open by winning against Serb lucky loser Hamad Medjedovic 6-4, 5-7, 6-3 at Kitzbühel Tennis Club.
Galan, ranked No 137, will play Facundo Diaz Acosta next.
