Iasi Open: Danilovic dismantles Todoni to move into last eight

Serb Olga Danilovic advanced to the quarter-finals of the Iasi Open by beating Romanian Anca Todoni 6-1, 6-1 at the Ciric Sports Base.
Danilovic, ranked No 148, will play Hungarian Anna Bondar, the No 8 seed, next.
The Serb won against Russian Anna Blinkova, the No 4 seed (6-2, 5-7, 6-1) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of the Iasi tournament, Todoni, ranked No 119, benefited from the abandonment of Belarusian qualifier Aliona Falei (5-0).
