Hungarian Open: Lamens cruises past Monnet to make last eight
Suzan Lamens won against Carole Monnet 6-4, 6-0 on Wednesday. She’ll face Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich in the next round

Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens reached the quarter-finals of the Hungarian Open by beating French qualifier Carole Monnet 6-4, 6-0 at Római Tennis Academy.
Lamens, ranked No 137, will play Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich next.
In the previous round of the Budapest tournament, the Dutchwoman beat Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva, the No 8 seed (6-3, 6-0).
Monnet, ranked No 221, defeated Hungarian qualifier Amarissa Toth (6-1, 6-1) during the first round of the Budapest tournament.
