Thiago Monteiro won against Federico Coria 6-1, 6-3 on Tuesday and will face second seed Casper Ruud in the next round

Brazilian Thiago Monteiro moved into the second round of the Nordea Open by defeating Argentinian Federico Coria 6-1, 6-3 at the Båstads tennisstadion.
Monteiro, ranked No 85, will face second seed Casper Ruud next.
