Australian Astra Sharma won against Russian Anna Blinkova, the No 6 seed, 6-0, 7-5 to move into the second round of the Palermo Open at A.S.D. Country Time Club on Monday.
Sharma, ranked No 151, will play the winner of the match between Australian wildcard Ajla Tomljanovic and Egyptian Mayar Sherif next.
