Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens won against Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva, the No 8 seed, 6-3, 6-0 to advance to the second round of the Hungarian Open at Római Tennis Academy in Budapest on Monday night.
Lamens, ranked No 137, will play French qualifier Carole Monnet next.
