Wildcard Harriet Dart reached the last 16 of the Birmingham Open by beating Japanese qualifier Moyuka Uchijima 6-3, 6-3 at Edgbaston Priory Club.
Dart, ranked No 101, will play second seed Barbora Krejcikova next.
