BBVA Open Internacional De Valencia: Shymanovich beats Zarazua to book spot in quarter-finals
Iryna Shymanovich beat Renata Zarazua 6-4, 6-2 and will play the winner of the match between Rebecca Sramkova and Laura Pigossi in the next round

Belarusian Iryna Shymanovich won against Mexican Renata Zarazua, the No 5 seed, 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the quarter-finals of the BBVA Open Internacional De Valencia on Thursday.
Shymanovich, ranked No 275, will face the winner of the match between Slovak Rebecca Sramkova, the No 4 seed, and Brazilian Laura Pigossi next.
The Belarusian beat lucky loser Dominika Salkova (6-4, 6-4) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round, Zarazua, ranked No 97, won against Spanish wildcard Charo Esquiva Banuls (6-1, 6-2).
