Brazilian Laura Pigossi won against Spanish wildcard Leyre Romero Gormaz 6-4, 6-0 to move into the last 16 of the BBVA Open Internacional De Valencia on Tuesday evening.
Pigossi, ranked No 115, will play Slovak Rebecca Sramkova, the No 4 seed, next.
