Daria Snigur reached the last 16 of the Nottingham Open by defeating second seed Marta Kostyuk 6-3, 6-3 at Nottingham Tennis Centre on Tuesday.

Snigur, ranked No 127, will face the winner of the match between Japanese qualifier Ena Shibahara and wildcard Emma Raducanu next.
