Slovak Rebecca Sramkova, the No 4 seed, defeated Thai qualifier Lanlana Tararudee 6-3, 6-1 to advance to the last 16 of the BBVA Open Internacional De Valencia on Monday afternoon.
Sramkova, ranked No 112, will play the winner of the match between Brazilian Laura Pigossi and Spanish wildcard Leyre Romero Gormaz next.
