Open delle Puglie: Udvardy moves into quarter-finals

Hungarian Panna Udvardy defeated Ukrainian qualifier Anastasiya Soboleva 6-0, 6-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Open delle Puglie on Thursday afternoon.
Udvardy, ranked No 132, will play the winner of the match between Mexican Renata Zarazua, the No 6 seed, and Ukrainian Katarina Zavatska next.
The Hungarian edged out Italian wildcard Giorgia Pedone (2-6, 7-5, 7-5) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round, Soboleva, ranked No 227, won against Italian Lucia Bronzetti, the second seed (7-5, 6-4).
