Strasbourg Open: Keys books spot in quarter-finals
Madison Keys defeated Xinyu Wang 7-5, 6-0 on Wednesday and will play the winner of the match between Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 6 seed, and Pole Magda Linette in the next round

American Madison Keys, the No 4 seed, moved into the last eight of the Strasbourg Open by beating Chinese Xinyu Wang 7-5, 6-0 at the Tennis Club de Strasbourg on Wednesday.
Keys, ranked No 16, will play the winner of the match between Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, the No 6 seed, and Pole Magda Linette next.
In the previous round of the Strasbourg tournament, Wang, ranked No 39, won against Russian Anna Kalinskaya (6-4, 7-6 (3)).
