Lyon Open: Sonego goes down in first round
Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard won against Lorenzo Sonego 6-3, 6-4 on Tuesday. He’ll face the winner of the match between German lucky loser Sebastian Fanselow and Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka in the next round

French wildcard Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard defeated Italian Lorenzo Sonego 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the second round of the Lyon Open at Parc de la Tête d’or on Tuesday.
Mpetshi Perricard, ranked No 117, will face the winner of the match between German lucky loser Sebastian Fanselow and Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka next.
