Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena won against German Daniel Altmaier 7-6 (2), 6-4 to move into the second round of the Geneva Open at Tennis Club de Genève, Parc des Eaux-Vives on Sunday afternoon.
Carballes Baena, ranked No 62, will play Argentinian Sebastian Baez, the No 5 seed, next.
