Dane Clara Tauson, the No 4 seed, reached the final of the Oeiras Ladies Open after American Bernarda Pera, the top seed, withdrew before the match.
Tauson, ranked No 87, will play the winner of the match between Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens and French wildcard Kristina Mladenovic next.
The 21-year-old Dane won against Frenchwoman Carole Monnet (6-3, 6-1), Spaniard Nuria Parrizas Diaz (6-3, 6-4) and Portuguese wildcard Matilde Jorge (6-1, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
In the previous rounds, Pera, ranked No 82, beat Australian Astra Sharma (1-2 ret.), Croat qualifier Tena Lukas (3-6, 6-1, 6-3) and Portuguese Francisca Jorge (6-4, 6-1).
