Aliona Falei beat Zhuoxuan Bai 6-4, 6-4 on Wednesday and will face the winner of the match between Russian lucky loser Julia Avdeeva and Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens in the next round
Belarusian Aliona Falei defeated Chinese Zhuoxuan Bai, the No 6 seed, 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the last eight of the Oeiras Ladies Open on Wednesday.
Falei, ranked No 202, will face the winner of the match between Russian lucky loser Julia Avdeeva and Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens next.
The 20-year-old Belarusian won against Australian Taylah Preston (6-4, 6-2) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round, Bai, ranked No 92, won against Italian Lucrezia Stefanini (7-6 (6), 7-5).
