Bucharest Open: Fonseca makes second round, defeats Sonego
Joao Fonseca won against Lorenzo Sonego 7-6 (5), 7-5 on Tuesday night and will play the winner of the match between qualifier Radu Albot and American Aleksandar Kovacevic in the next round

Brazilian wildcard Joao Fonseca won against Italian Lorenzo Sonego, the No 6 seed, 7-6 (5), 7-5 to reach the second round of the Bucharest Open at the National Tennis Centre on Tuesday night.
Fonseca, ranked No 276, will play the winner of the match between qualifier Radu Albot and American Aleksandar Kovacevic next.
