Charleston Open: Lucky loser Sharma knocks out Tsurenko
Astra Sharma won against Lesia Tsurenko 6-4, 6-0 on Wednesday night. She’ll play Greek Maria Sakkari, the No 3 seed, in the next round

Australian lucky loser Astra Sharma advanced to the last 16 of the Charleston Open by beating Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko, the No 16 seed, 6-4, 6-0 at the Family Circle Tennis Center on Wednesday night.
Sharma, ranked No 135, will face Greek Maria Sakkari, the No 3 seed, next.
The Australian won against Arina Rodionova (6-4, 6-1) ahead of her victory.
