Estoril Open: Fils reaches second round

Frenchman Arthur Fils, the No 5 seed, won against Portuguese wildcard João Sousa 7-5, 6-4 to reach the second round of the Estoril Open at Clube de Ténis do Estoril on Wednesday afternoon.

Fils, ranked No 37, will face Chilean Cristian Garin next.
