Spanish lucky loser David Jorda Sanchis won against Portuguese qualifier Jaime Faria 7-6 (4), 6-1 to advance to the second round of the Estoril Open at Clube de Ténis do Estoril on Wednesday.
Jorda Sanchis, ranked No 329, will play Spanish qualifier Pablo Llamas Ruiz next.
