Miami Masters: Wildcard Damm into third round as Paul retires with twisted ankle
Martin Damm is through after Tommy Paul retired injured with an ankle injury (4-6, 2-1). He’ll face the winner of the match between O’Connell and Tiafoe next

Wildcard Martin Damm moved into the third round of the Miami Masters when No 13 seed Tommy Paul retired at the Hard Rock Stadium.
Damm, ranked No 204, led 4-6, 2-1 when Paul, ranked No 14, pulled out at the Hard Rock Stadium.
Martin Damm will play the winner of the match between Australian Christopher O’Connell and American Frances Tiafoe, the No 21 seed, next.
Damm won against Chinese Zhizhen Zhang (7-6 (2), 7-6 (3)) ahead of his victory.
