Miami Open: Minnen books spot in third round
Greet Minnen won against Lesia Tsurenko 7-5, 6-1 on Thursday evening and will play the winner of the match between Russian Liudmila Samsonova, the No 13 seed, and Kazakh Yulia Putintseva in the next round

Belgian lucky loser Greet Minnen won against Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko 7-5, 6-1 to advance to the third round of the Miami Open at the Hard Rock Stadium on Thursday evening.
Minnen, ranked No 79, will play the winner of the match between Russian Liudmila Samsonova, the No 13 seed, and Kazakh Yulia Putintseva next.
In the previous round of the Miami tournament, Tsurenko, ranked No 40, edged out Pole Magda Linette (2-6, 6-1, 6-4).
