Russian Kamilla Rakhimova edged out Belgian Yanina Wickmayer 6-3, 6-7 (4), 7-6 (5) to reach the second round of the Austin Open at the Westwood Country Club on Tuesday evening.
Rakhimova, ranked No 94, will play No 5 seed Diane Parry next.
