China’s Xinyu Wang won against Dane Clara Tauson 6-2, 2-6, 6-1 to reach the second round of the San Diego Open at the Barnes Tennis Center on Tuesday.
Wang, ranked No 41, will play No 4 seed Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova next.
