Australian Open: Garcia takes out returning Osaka in straight sets
Caroline Garcia beat Naomi Osaka 6-4, 7-6 (2) on Monday and will face Pole Magdalena Frech in the next round

Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia, the No 16 seed, won against Japan’s Naomi Osaka 6-4, 7-6 (2) to move into the second round of the Australian Open at Melbourne Park on Monday.
Garcia served 13 aces and did not face a break point en route to victory.
Garcia, ranked No 19, will face Pole Magdalena Frech next.
