Casper Ruud and Holger Rune will headline the first stage of UTS Tour 2024 in Oslo
Ruud and Rune will be accompanied by Monfils, Thiem, Rublev and Bublik in the UTS Oslo cast.
The organizers of UTS Seoul have announced the postponement of UTS Seoul. The next UTS event will therefore be the Grand Final, in London, from December 15 to 17, 2023, at ExCel London.
UTS Tour continues its journey in 2024! After two events already organised in 2023 in Los Angeles and Frankfurt, and two to come in Seoul (December 1-3) and London (December 15-17), the organizers have revealed the location 2024’s first stage, which will take place in Oslo, Norway.
Scandinavia, home to two of the sports’ biggest stars, will bring tennis’ endless summer to the wintry Norwegian capital on the second weekend of February. Casper “The Iceman” Ruud and Holger “The Viking” Rune are confirmed for the event, which will take place at the Telenor Arena from February 9-11.
For the Norwegian, a three-time major finalist and a former world No 2, it will be the very first time in his career that he will play in front of his audience. He discovered UTS in Frankfurt where he failed to reach the semi-finals.
Ruud will look to outperform his Danish counterpart rune, who also boasts limited UTS experience. The 20-year-old Dane will make his second appearance at UTS, after a first visit in 2020, when he was just 17 years old.
UTS organizers have also confirmed the presence of four other big names and regulars of the UTS Tour. Andrey Rublev, winner in Frankfurt, Gaël Monfils, Alexander Bublik and Dominic Thiem, returning to the UTS stage for the first time since participating in the inaugural edition in 2020 at the the Mouratoglou Academy in the South of France.
Tickets for UTS Oslo are available now on the official competition website.
