Colina Open: Jeanjean makes last eight

Frenchwoman Leolia Jeanjean, the No 8 seed, beat Greek Despina Papamichail 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the last eight of the Colina Open at the Club Deportivo Universidad Catolica on Wednesday evening.
In the previous round of the Chilean tournament, Jeanjean, ranked No 131, won against Russian qualifier Amina Anshba (6-3, 6-1).
Papamichail, ranked No 228, defeated Argentinian Solana Sierra (6-3, 6-2) in the previous round of the Chilean tournament.
