Canadian Katherine Sebov edged out Swiss qualifier Lulu Sun 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 to advance to the second round of the Midland Open at the Greater Midland Tennis Center on Tuesday.
Sebov, ranked No 141, will play No 5 seed Ashlyn Krueger next.
