Tampico Open: Bektas beats top seed Dolehide to reach semis, meets Rakhimova next
The sixth seed beat Caroline Dolehide 6-1, 6-2 to move into the semi-finals of the WTA $125K event

Sixth seed Emina Bektas won against top seed Caroline Dolehide 6-1, 6-2 to reach the semi-finals of the Tampico Open at the Centro Libanés Mexicano de Tampico on Friday.
Bektas, ranked No 104, will play No 5 seed Kamilla Rakhimova next.
Ahead of her win today, Emina Bektas beat Mexican Renata Zarazua (6-2, 6-4) and edged out Australian Ajla Tomljanovic (6-7 (2), 6-4, 7-5).
Dolehide, ranked No 43, won against Ashley Lahey (7-6 (6), 6-2) and Mexican wildcard Victoria Rodriguez (7-6 (6), 0-6, 6-2) in the previous rounds of the Tampico tournament.

- Anna Kalinskaya (4) beat Katie Volynets (7): 6-3, 6-1
- Kamilla Rakhimova beat Anastasia Tikhonova: 6-1, 6-2
